Terms of Service
Last updated July 6, 2026
Validors is operated by Merse Sárvári as a sole proprietor. By creating an account or using Validors, you agree to these terms.
What Validors is
Validors audits a Chrome Web Store extension listing and returns findings on what might improve its ranking or conversion. Every finding is labeled by how confident we actually are in it -- confirmed policy, correlated but unofficial, or best practice, unproven -- rather than presented as guaranteed fact. Validors is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or the Chrome Web Store.
Reports are informational. Following a recommendation does not guarantee approval, ranking improvement, or any particular outcome on the Chrome Web Store, and Chrome's own policies always take precedence over anything Validors suggests.
Accounts
You sign in via Google or GitHub SSO. You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity that happens under your Validors account.
Tokens and subscriptions
- Audits cost tokens: a fresh audit of a listing costs more than re-auditing one you've already run.
- Monthly subscription plans grant a set number of tokens each billing period. Unused tokens carry over and don't expire.
- One-time token top-ups are also available and never expire.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. Billing is handled by Stripe.
- Cancel or change your plan any time from the “Manage subscription” button on the plans page, which opens Stripe's billing portal.
- Payments are generally non-refundable once tokens are granted or an audit has run, except where required by law. If something charged incorrectly, contact us and we'll make it right.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent Validors' rate limits, token system, or access controls.
- Use Validors to scrape or extract data from the Chrome Web Store outside of what the audit feature itself does on your behalf.
- Resell or redistribute Validors' reports as your own audit product without permission.
Disclaimer and liability
Validors is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Audit findings can be wrong, incomplete, or based on a data source that Google has since changed. We're not liable for decisions made based on a Validors report, or for any listing rejection, suspension, or ranking change by the Chrome Web Store. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Validors in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use Validors after that means you accept the update.
